Wetter Than Water™ uses a unique blend of carrier and wetting agents, which help it permeate and saturate the epidermis, providing an instant “drink” to quench dehydrated skin. This emulsion maintains superior moisture and beneficial nutrients that increase volume, reduce inflammation, and provide antioxidant, free radical scavenging, and immune-boosting benefits.

2. Lightly mist the face, neck, and décolleté with Wetter Than Water™.

FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS

Hydrolyzed Tremella Funciformis Sporocap Extract (Tremella Mushroom) — Hydrolyzed ingredients are broken down into amino acids, peptides, polypeptides, and denatured proteins. This ingredient contains a polysaccharide with an almost unbelievable water-holding capacity of 500 times its weight. Tremella generates a natural flexible hydrating film on the skin that reinstates dry skin to its optimally hydrated and mobile state, enabling it to develop elasticity. It prevents skin aging by restraining the peroxidation of cells, boosting elastin, and preventing degradation of micro-blood vessels in the skin, reducing wrinkles and smoothing fine lines. Other anti-aging effects come from its antioxidant qualities and increased SOD.

Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract — A fermented ingredient derived from a deep-sea bacterium in Antarctica. It creates a polysaccharide that improves hydration and water holding capacity by stimulating HA and filaggrin. This extract reduces sensitivity and inflammation. It has also been shown to increase elastin and collagens I and IV synthesis. The ferment includes amino acids glycine, histidine, and lysine, and can reduce wrinkles, smooth the skin, and reinforce dermal structures.

Alanine — A hydrophobic amino acid which boosts synthesis of the bi-peptide carnosine. In terms of anti-aging, carnosine opposes the glycation process caused by AGEs. AGEs affect almost every type of cell and molecule in the body; they attach themselves to amino acids in tissues, resulting in formations that are body incompatible.

Allantoin — Naturally found in the body, allantoin is mildly keratolytic (breaks down keratin) and encourages desquamation and cell regeneration. Allantoin locks moisture into the extracellular matrix, accelerates healing, and reduces hypersensitivity, making it ideal for distressed skin. It is found in plants like chamomile and treats dry skin, burns, acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergies. It also absorbs the UV spectrum, protecting cell DNA.

Krameria Trianda Root Extract — An astringent, antifungal, and antibacterial botanical. Contains potent antioxidant polyphenols, specifically OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanins), which can improve vein function and ease swelling. Krameria Triandra inhibits elastase (the enzyme which degrades collagen) and has UVB photoprotective benefits. It also modulates the hormonal flux that stems from internal and external stressors.
